Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of cleaning services provided by Perfect Touch Cleaning Service LLC(“Perfect Touch”, “we”, “us”) and our online portal at eagle-steel.vercel.app. By booking a service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, requesting a cleaning, or using our portal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and references to “you” include both you and the entity.

2. Service Description

Perfect Touch provides residential and small-business cleaning services in Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Palm Coast, and surrounding areas of Florida. Service categories include general cleaning, deep cleaning, and disinfection & sanitization, as described on our public site.

Specific scope of work for each booking is defined at the time of quote. We reserve the right to refuse, modify, or terminate service if a property poses safety, access, or hygiene risks beyond the agreed scope.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into these Terms. To request services through the portal, you must register an account using a valid email address and maintain accurate contact and property information.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity under your account. Notify us immediately at perfecttouch172@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Booking, Rescheduling & Cancellation

You may request a cleaning through the portal, by phone, or by email. A request is confirmed once we send a written confirmation (in-app, email, or SMS). Pricing is as quoted; recurring bookings may follow a separately agreed schedule.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule a confirmed cleaning at no charge with at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled service window. [CONFIRM WITH EMILLY: window length, fee structure for shorter notice]

Cancellation by you

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service incur no fee. Cancellations made within 24 hours, or no-shows where our team cannot access the property, may incur a fee equal to [CONFIRM WITH EMILLY: cancellation fee — flat rate or % of job].

Cancellation by us

We may cancel or reschedule a service due to severe weather, staff illness, safety concerns, or unforeseen events. We will notify you as early as practicable and either reschedule at no cost or refund any prepayment.

5. Pricing & Payment

Pricing for each cleaning is set in your account profile or quoted before service. Prices are exclusive of any applicable sales tax, which will be added if and as required by Florida law.

Billing frequency

Owners may choose one of three billing schedules: Per job (invoice issued after each completed cleaning), Weekly (single invoice each week covering completed jobs), or Monthly (single invoice each month covering completed jobs). The default for new accounts is Per job.

Payment processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers — Stripe handles that under its own terms and security standards. By providing a payment method, you authorize us to charge it for invoiced amounts.

Auto-pay authorization

If you opt in to auto-billing for weekly or monthly cadences, you authorize us to automatically issue invoices and (where you have a saved payment method) to charge that method on the issued due date. You may revoke this authorization at any time via the “Manage billing” portal in your dashboard or by contacting us.

Late payments

Invoices are due within 14 days of issuance unless otherwise stated. Past-due invoices may incur late fees [CONFIRM WITH EMILLY: late fee policy — flat fee, monthly %, or none]. We may pause future cleanings while an invoice is overdue.

Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with a completed cleaning, contact us within 48 hours and we will return to address the issue at no charge under our quality commitment in section 7. Monetary refunds are issued at our discretion and only after we have had a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.

6. Property Access, Keys & Codes

You are responsible for providing safe, reliable access to the property at the scheduled time — through a key, access code, lockbox, smart-home credential, or by being present. You may store access details in your account profile; we treat them as confidential under the Privacy Policy.

If our team cannot access the property at the scheduled time, the cancellation fee in section 4 may apply. We will not enter areas marked as off-limits and will not handle pets, firearms, or other hazardous items.

7. Service Standards & Quality Commitment

We commit to the standards described on our public site: trained, background-checked, uniformed staff using top-quality products with attention to detail. If a completed cleaning falls short, contact us within 48 hours at perfecttouch172@gmail.com or 781-888-2379 and we will return to remedy the specific area at no charge.

8. Damages, Breakage & Insurance

Our team takes care to avoid damage. In the unlikely event of accidental damage or breakage caused by our team, please notify us within 48 hours with photos so we can investigate and resolve.

We carry liability insurance for the protection of both parties. [CONFIRM WITH EMILLY: liability cap per incident, deductible, exclusions for items of unusual value such as art or antiques]

We are not liable for: (i) pre-existing damage; (ii) damage caused by improperly mounted, secured, or unstable items; (iii) ordinary wear of surfaces; (iv) items left in a state that prevents safe cleaning; or (v) any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages.

9. Communications & Consent

By providing a phone number you consent to receive service-related messages from us by SMS or WhatsApp (such as appointment confirmations, schedule changes, and completion notifications). Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of WhatsApp or SMS at any time by replying STOP or by updating preferences in your profile; we will continue to email you for essential service and billing notices while your account is active.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Perfect Touch's aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for cleaning services in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, even if advised of the possibility.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Perfect Touch and its officers, employees, and contractors from any claim or demand arising from: (i) your breach of these Terms; (ii) your misuse of the portal; (iii) inaccurate information you provided about the property; or (iv) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law in connection with our services.

12. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at perfecttouch172@gmail.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay overdue invoices, or behave in a way that creates a safety risk for our team. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment, liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

13. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Perfect Touch concerning our services. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
